You should also check your tires’ tread depth regularly. An excellent way to do this is to insert a quarter into the tread groove. If you can see the top of George Washington’s head, your tread depth is less than acceptable, and it may be time for new tires.
If you’re driving and feel vibrations or your steering wheel starts to shake, this is also a sign that something is wrong with your tire alignment. It’s best to get this checked out as soon as possible, so the problem doesn’t persist and worsen over time!
Look at your tires for any signs of damage, such as cuts, cracks, or bulges. These problems can weaken the tire’s structure and cause a blowout while driving. If you notice any of these issues, it’s time to get your tires checked by a professional.
